Kernmantle Nylon
Features
Nylon kernmantle ropes are available in both stiff and supple constructions. Supple ropes are generally preferred when the application involves a lot of knot tying, and where the ropes may be stuffed into a rope bag for storage. The stiff ropes are somewhat harder to handle, but offer improved durability in harsh environments. They also tend to work better in rope grabs and ascenders.
